Flower Market Janskerkhof

For as long as anyone can remember there’s been a flower and plant market right in the city centre on Janskerkhof on Saturdays. It’s like being in an enormous garden where everything is blooming at the same time. The choices are endless: from bright meadow flowers that brighten up your day to bulbs to take home as a souvenir.

Organic farmers’ market

Fresh farm produce in the middle of the city: the farmers’ market held every Friday on Vredenburgplein sells organic fruit & vegetables, various cheeses, fruit and vegetable juices, organic meat, sustainable fish and organic bread and pastries. Coming straight from the farm, all products are fresh and of high quality

Fabric Market

Even if you aren’t in the market for fabrics, buttons or zips, the fabric market in the Breedstraat is still a great place for a Saturday morning stroll. It’s not only the biggest fabric and textile market in the Netherlands, it’s also the oldest.

Vredenburg Market

The market on the Vredenburg is a typical Dutch market, featuring countless stalls offering fresh fruit & vegetables, bread, meat, fish, freshly roasted nuts and of course plenty of cheese.

Flower Market Oudegracht

Aside from the flower market on Janskerkhof, the Oudegracht is also home to a weekly flower market on Saturdays
