Gaudeamus Festival presents new music
Overwhelming minimal music, wringing soundscapes, experimental electronics, post-pop, electro-acoustic crossovers: all this can be heard from 5 – 9 September during Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

For five days Gaudeamus presents unique listening experiences, averse to genres and labels, but full with music by the youngest generation of music pioneers, performed by renowned ensembles like Asko|Schönberg, Kluster5, s t a r g a z e, Ensemble Klang, Cappella Amsterdam, Insomnio and many others.

The annual Gaudeamus Muziekweek is the oldest music festival in the Netherlands and takes place in Utrecht since 2011. It is the international meeting place for young composers and music pioneers from all over the world. Gaudeamus presents, organises, stimulates and supports the newest music by young music pioneers. For 70 years Gaudeamus has worked hard to provide music pioneers worldwide with a stage and to bring the music of tomorrow to curious music lovers. It is impossible to imagine today’s international world of (new) music without Gaudeamus.
